Welcome back Tech Qntm announced that they were dissolving the head operation on Oct. 28 98. quantum.com but I couldn't find the date at which this became effective in the press release. The earnings reports says they took a charge last quarter so I don't believe it will be a part of earnings this quarter. The question is how much of the head operation was included in last quarters result. quantum.com It also seems like they were holding onto half of it for sale at a future time. I think that another significant factor for QNTM is that they went from shipping Bigfoot TX last quarter to shipping Bigfoot TS this quarter. That should have reduced cost of goods sold significantly in my estimation. Also their ramp from 3.2 to 4.3 GB/platter on the 3.5 inch side should have brought them up to par with the rest of the players. Next quarters 6.8GB/platter Fireball CX is still the only drive at that capacity/platter that I know of. Are estimates really still at 33c. What do you think of the valuation of this company. Henry
