Everyone,
Dropped into Computer City and while I was there I talked to the store manager about x2 and he said the USR rep, who he said was somewhere in the store, told him the x2 modems will be on display in two to three week's! We could not find the USR rep, but it was around the lunch hour so he was probably gone. I noticed they had a good stock of Winmodems, Sportsters, and Couriers. I have to wonder if they (Computer City) want to unload their existing stock before displaying the native x2 modems? My son wanted to go into thier back room becuase he thinks the modems are there!
What I want to know, and you more experienced investors than I can help me with, is if the x2 modems don't show up for another week or two haven't we the shareholders been betrayed? USR said possibly within hours the other day. Certainly over this weekend. USR has responsibilities to their shareholders don't they?
Should I be deeply concerned as a shareholder? I look at the company in a long term way but I do not like being lied to!
Enough ranting, perhaps the modems will hit Monday and we'll all be saying cheers!!!
