Yup, a bunch. Some 'roun' Houma, some in Lafeeyette. I'm 'on tall yoou som'tin', dem de pahTEEinest folk 'roun'.

Best time I ever had socializing was when I got invited to a pahTEE in a little "bar" in Houma. Somebody's living room with a piano and a board floor. Evahwun from the neighborhood was there, from the most recently borned to gran'mama (love the idea of communal elders, so rare in most places).

An what dem folk could do wid 'a feesh!
