Interesting point. If you were trailer park trash, would you know it? I have to admit, the web site is much trashier than I was expecting. But the book says that a couple of the SPQ are not just Junior League, but former Presidents of the Junior League. This leads to an interesting anthropological/sociological dilemma.
What is upper class, middle class, lower class, in Modern America? Shooting from the hip, Junior League is upper class, at least in such environs as Jackson, Mississippi, at least in my estimation, anyway.
