Obviously you are not being honest or serious about having called your sister in English with FunPhone, Scouser. It won't accept such calling numbers. My friend complained this to me when he tried to save some money using FunPhone calling foreign countries; I thought he could. He quoted to me in email the following from the FunPhone's web site.

Yes, anywhere within the NANPA (North American Numbering Plan Administration) area - that includes all of the United States and its territories, Canada, Bermuda, and many Caribbean nations, including Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and Turks & Caicos.
