I got an answer from Alcatel. I thought it might interest some of you " Hello, In response to your message dated March 29, I am sorry to know that previous messages have not been answered. I wish you believe I do my best to answer the next day at the latest. Now, to answer your questions, the annuel report will be published by mid of May, and the number of oustanding shares is 198.7 millions (as of 31/12/98). Concerning the current capital structure, this information will be released in the annual report since we still have to get the visa from COB ( Commission des 0pérations de Bourse) for what we call the "Document de référence".
