I sure as hell never made a fortune,but I did make some money of of Mr.Dunlap on the way up!I don't know the man,but I was well aware of his reputation when he took over SOC.Big lumbering companies don't like people like Dunlap----he actually makes thing happen.Status quo and slow as we go are the strategies employed by top heavy companies like SOC.Dunlap like General Sherman slashed and burned his way through a company heading south and for it he had his head handed to him!I watch the bid on SOC and the bid when it hits 5 1/2--5 9/16 is enourmous.It is some of the biggest I have ever seen!It just tells me there are many many buyers out there that at these prices would be very happy to own this company.I just hope there is some positive news soon to get this puppy moving up!I worry that if the delay in this recent filing proves Dunlap wasn't as bad as thought it could impact this stock in a negative way!It could harm the present managements credibility. So in a perverse way I am hoping for a silver lining and more Dunlap bashing with a kitchen sink style negative report.I can't believe I am praying for negative news.The Dunlap wars have impacted this stock more than poor earnings ever could have.So as an investor I want to move on!I would like Dunlap to get some positive recognition though so come some day,He re-enters the work world,I could follow him and invest.He is one crazy guy.He makes Wall Street fun!Unfortunately the pin striped pin heads don't have much humor in them!
