Fred,

USRX has been going down, because:

1) The tech market (networkers) are going down.
2) Wall Street is worried that even if x2 ships today, Rockwell is no longer way way way behind (this is yet to be seen).

Anyway, oftentimes, stocks get a decent pop on anticipated product announcement--but that's only when the overall market is in a good mood and going higher. Again, Wall Street isn't too happy with the networkers and techs at this point. I took that into consideration when I made my post.

CYRX: Cyrix isn't as widely followed as USRX and their x2 modem. Also, I've never seen anything except vague remarks about the >$1000 PC (wich CYRX's chips inside). Some offhand comments pegged shipment, maybe in the first, but probably the second quarter. Contrast that to x2, which we all know will ship "soon."

Also, note that I said USRX should get a "short-lived" pop on the x2 announcement.
