Hi Jack...

I was hoping SOMEONE would ask those questions...

I have MSWIN 6.0 - the full package and I use all of it including my own indicators to try to scope out what the next moves will be for the stocks in my database. First, I use the explorer to reduce the 104 stocks down to a narrow group (about 1/3 make it through). Out of this group, only a handful have the characteristics to go higher under the current conditions... that is, they are now trending and should continue so for the next week or so.

Secondly, I do an exployer run for turning (not trending) stocks. Again, I have indicators which tend select stocks making reversals.

Lastly, I examine all the candidates for the best... AOL and JPM are my picks for next week:

AOL using a number of line studies including Andrew's Pitchforks - parallel lines, Least squares Raff Channel, and 2 month trend line - AOL seems to be good. The more bad news that gets out... the higher the reversals seem to be. NOW I COULD BE ALL WET ON THIS ONE... but there are too many bearish people out there for this to be a dud. If all these people have shorted this stock and it starts to move... look-out!

Need more?

Make mine AOLCU... it may get as low as 7/8ths if the stock hits 33 3/4 as I expect it to Monday.

Regards... now that you've picked MY brains... what do YOU think.

Bill
