Well, what kind of comment can one make about that? This satellite is your plain vanilla satellite, nothing special, nothing secret. If the US government wants to be an extreme prick, it can deny export. I would see no reason though for anyone using common sense or anything close to common sense to deny export. If it so happens that they are screwed by Uncle Sam, I would think Skynet would be the ideal customer. They have started on Telstar-8 I think, but that could be halted in favor of rejiggering Chinasat-8. Optus is coming up, and their are others in line too. In the land of "things to fret about", this is low on my list.
