Sal,

<<Trust me, CYRX's announcement isn't nearly as widely known as you think it was. And in any case, no one was sure of the release date. >>

Yeah and everyone is sure of the release date for x2. Come on now. With respect to CYRX, your right no one was sure about the date just that it was "soon", exactly what USRX is saying now. IMO you don't think the CYRX announcement was well know just because you weren't aware of it. It has been very well know. Why do you think CYRIX has been rising sharply for months from low teens to the mid twenties before this announcement. The investment community as well as the technical community has been very aware of the Cyrix/Compaq announcement. Talk about something that should have been already priced in....jeesh. BTW, in case you are unaware.....AMD will also be announcing a new chip soon. That too is why their stock has more than doubled over the last several months.

<<2) Wall Street is worried that even if x2 ships today, Rockwell is no longer way way way behind (this is yet to be seen).>>

You're right, this is yet to be seen. This is what I mean by short term ignorance. My guess is no Rockwell based 56k modems on the shelves for at leat 3-4 months.

<<Fred, everyone knows that x2 is coming "soon.">>

Right, and everyone knew at the beginning of the month that it was coming in "days", at least that's what we were told. The problem is the uncertainty surrounding "days" or "soon". I think the stock has gone done because of this uncertainty and the fear that there may be serious bugs remaining to be fixed. I don't think this is the case but I think it has investors worried. Granted the networking segment going down hasn't helped but USRX began its slide BEFORE the COMS disaster and general network drop.
