You can argue the anti-trust enforcement issue as much as you like

But take a look at the stock price and you will see that all of these worries are factored into it.

I'm completely convinced that Wintel has no future for Intel. Old habits die hard especially with old management but look at the P/E ratio and tell me why INTC doesn't get traded higher?

Look at any time period and tell me why. Compare the stock price to the Wintel partner. Who got the short end of the stick?

The world regards INTC as a commodity producer dependent for its success on MSFT. MSFT is losing it's monopoly. INTC has to diversify and disconnect from Wintel. IT has to develop another strategy and I might add change its Big Brother image.

The fear of price regulation and anti-trust is in the market. Had INTC not settled the FTC case, the market makers were planning to trash this stock and take it down below 100.

They still want to trash the stock. Look at the power of these guys. Check out Thursday's chart and that move up at the close. That's the type of control they have over your favorite company.

You want to be sitting on INTC at post split 40? Say for a couple years until a recession drags us back down to where the stock was in the early 90's? How about a reverse stock split in the midst of a severe recession. Plan for that one?
