Financial Concerns:
Even if the tech works, and even ignoring the HUGE management concerns as outlined previously, there are massive financial concerns that should worry any would be investor.
This company is cash starved. It has resorted to floorless convertible type of financing which every penny stock investor dreads. We will have approximately 100,000,000 shares outstanding after conversion of certain rights according to recent public filings. That is just to get us where we are today. Remember that we still have to get through the TRIALS. That will likely take us toward the end of the year (my guess, not theirs). Then IMDS will need funds to begin manufacturing the units (more people, more supplies, more insurance, salespersons, etc.). Finally, it will take time to get market acceptance of this product even with approval.
That last point is easily forgotten, but critical. Remember that we already have accepted technology (mammo) and several other back up techs to mammo. Remember also that IMDS is attempting to get approval for the product initially as an assisting tech to mammo, not as a replacement of mammo. Therefore, it will take a long time to get hospital administrators and others to be convinced to spend the added funds. If women are still required to go thru the pain of mammo, why would they spend money on a new assisting tech when there are other assisting techs already in use?
Put it in perspective, this stock has huge dilution ahead of it, with or without approval. Market acceptance, to the point of profitability, is a LONG WAY off. Dilution will continue until there is profitability. As a result, dilution will make this investment that much worse. Throw this on top of the HUGE concerns over MANAGEMENT pursuing their own interests and about management competence, and you'll see this stock is a death trap for investors.
I haven't even taken into consideration the allegations of tampering with images or the prior FDA reports on Grable's old company Lintronics. These can be seen at Skolnicks web site. None of those items need be true to make this a very very unhealthy investment. You should do your research - go to his site and read the reports for yourself. Call the FDA with questions. |
