I don't know Mark's track record, my ears perked up in reading his post because he also has noticed a certain gang-like behavior exhibited by several of you. Maybe I can coin a new word: CyberGang - Definition: a group of investors that jump from stock to stock first shorting it, then swamping the posters on that site with a never ending tirade of bearish posts to make it appear that the majority of opinions on the stock are negative to scare legitimate investors into selling.
There must be several members (if the gang doesn't have enough members, just create a few fake id's). Include 1 or 2 well-educated pontificating characters that slant negatively (but maintain their neutrality), one loose cannon shouting "fraud" and "scam" without any supporting data (and claiming to be short a large position), another really annoying guy that argues the negative side endlessly until knowledgeable posters get sick of debating him (also claims neutrality),
General Gang Rules:
Always use old SEC reports and debate standard disclaimers from them.
If it helps create fear you can apply inapplicable bankruptcy formulas.
Don't hesitate.to incorrectly apply TA and post the results whenever they appear negative.
Challenge posters for using TA when the results are positive.
Post in the middle of the night quite often because there won't be anyone awake to debate your points.
Challenge any financing deals because the terms are likely over the head of the average investor, and you can come to your own negative conclusions.
<VBG> I'm only half-joking here.
