For the past few years Intel has regularly cut prices on
processor's every quarter (except last year when the did a larger cut
in Aug and did not do any in Nov.) In its earnings report or conference call Intel has mentioned that they saw no reason to change this except perhaps in the last quarter. The months when they announce this are 1st week of Feb, May, Aug and Nov. The magnitude of the
cuts are not advertised in advance, and depends on various factors
such as margins, demand, etc..
