Just curious, but I haven't found any buyback yet and was wondering if anyone else has noticed or cares? Also, everyday I read the local newspaper, there is section after section of articles about companies and state governments all behind or yet to accomplish the YK2 problem. They speak not of millions but of billions of dollars needed to effectively remedy the problem. Scratch..Scratch.. IMHO- I would be discounting my services and tackling every state and corp out there for the business at hand. Someone has to be receiving the money for upgrades, and governmental problems must be addressed and solved. Even bringing the initial problem to an acceptable level and then streamlining after the year 2000 comes and goes.

If Syntel is having a hard slope ahead to the IT Sourcing community level, then the bread and butter that established it, would appear in my small brain, as a No brainer!!Money Money sitting everywhere just for the taking!

Perhaps, I'm just to American and capitalistic. All great plans established by a progressive company can and should be flexible and grasp the immediate monies and add to the bottom line without disposing of the original company goals.

I guess my simplistic and ranting thoughts are nothing more than a disenchanted stock holder who sees his investment at a bottom with a company sitting on their hands. Just in case any company employees are monitoring this site...

Norm....all thoughts whether positive or negative welcomed!!
