HI Bill; RE > irrelevence of Intel's MMX. <VBG> I predicted a long time ago that the MMX would not be some big deal for intel, and could lead they down a trail that IBM went with the micro bus flop.. MMX is not to do the user some favor mind you, if they can get it across it is to lock the user in and the other companies like AMD and Cyrix out..Intel playing low ball..I won't buy or ever recomend one..would switch to apple first. Jim
