SgtPepper, you very well may be right on. A lot of things arrive loudly and leave quietly.
I'm not knowledgeable enough to say this or that will or won't happen. I have, however, heard that Linux is definitely gaining ground and is scaring the he.. out of Microsoft. Why? Because it is free! And, I would think that the gaming community would embrace a free platform because the players have a good share of fanatics (not meant in a bad way). Some, maybe many are 'geeks'. Put it together and you will likely at least have a movement toward a free platform.
My question is, if this were to happen, would it be positive or negative for PCTR, or both? If PCTR is still the only company, or one of few, to offer simultaneos 3-D usage, could it be used on a Linux system and still generate revenues from paying customers? I'm long in PCTR, but trying to be aware of any threats to its success. Thanks. Ted
