Hello folks:

Hey Jim...long time! Good to see the thread alive and kicking again.

I think I'd better put my two cents in here.

A couple of comments:

I've had many good conversations with the boys at the Butte MR3 plant. The new process is coming along and when I last spoke tho them the engineer was meeting with the folks about the new location and trying to finalize things.

I've got a number of potential clients for them and discussed the possibilities. I believe they said they still have 2-3 months of (maybe even as high as 6 months, can't exactly remember) of zinc outside their door that needs to be preocessed before they can feasibly looking at taking any new products at the plant. I believe they are also only currently set up to extract the single element right now, so would have to add more pods to the system.

I also spoke to them about Cominco and actually had a good conversation with Cominco's head Environmental guy for the Trail smelter. He said that it wasn't feasible for them to try to chase down the trace elements in their waste stream, but would look up their website and contact the company if it looked worthwhile. I mentioned the reclamation potential and he seemed to perk up a bit. I should call him back and see where things went.

I've got some other tidbits to add, but this post is getting a little long, so I'll add more later.

Greg
