TF, I don't follow the fiber arena closely so can't comment about other fiber companies.

But here's a few thoughts on some stocks you mentioned.

QCOM ... early days still. If/when cdma becomes the standard, QCOM should see multi-year growth and this recent flurry will be just a blip. Wireless internet is huge, the internet for that is the way of life for the next decade ... wireless because in countries that have yet to build communications infrastructure, they may likely go the way of wireless as the technology matures rather than conventional networking ala hubs, switches, routers. Geographical constraints make wireless communications compelling.

GBLX ...an attractive story. Gap at 38-39 needs to be filled technically, support at 33ish. Earnings and forward guidance in a few weeks, I'd be inclined to phase in after the report is out but with discretionary investment capital.

NSM ... reminds me alot of SGI.

Sorry to hear about your margin problems last fall.
