re: The numbers (for the float) that are being thrown around seem very low. Between you, me, and KZAP, we have over a million shares of MDMI and we are holding. Am I to believe that the float is below 10 million shares? I would like an ACCURATE number of what the float is.
So would I. The float was 3,500,000 a year ago when the OS were 27,000,000. Now the OS are over 47,000,000. I guessed that the float also went up by 20,000,000 shares but apparently most of those turned out to be restricted shares. And I haven't seen any 144's reporting insider sales - a large portion of the OS are tightly held by Shaw, Varrill, and othere insiders.
I asked Phil Hernandez of La Guardia what the current float is. He said he wouldn't have an exact number 'till next week, but it is not likely to be above 7,000,000 shares.
