Java and Jini aren't operating systems. Java is an application environment which sits on top of an operating system. Jini is a mechanism for services seamlessly available across a network, and sits on top of Java. Symbian has recently announced plans to incorporate Java into their EPOC technology on a very wide scale. Java can also run on top of WinCE (and VxWorks, of course).
