Hey Tom, I have a new monitor!!! (but not the one you expect)

I just finished setting up my GB/Riva TNT/16M card with a
24" ultra-wide Sony W900. Maybe does not look as modern as
the SGI flat panel, but it's 1920 x 1200 pixels, 32 bits
per pixel, 75 MHz refresh rate, it's 40% higher surface
area... the Sony is quite impressive. It's quite bulky too:
at 24 inches and 90 pounds it requires plenty of space.

It took me 2 hours to hack the dot-clocks right. None of
the setup programs for XFree3331 ever considers an unusual
aspect ratio of the screen... getting 1600x1200 was trivial,
but hacking that to 1920 took quite some stomach.

Will put a photo sometime. Gee, my screen caps are going to
be enormous!
