Why don't you go to the Nirvana site and look in the archive signal watch section. There are a lot of studies and lessons. You have to read up on technical analysis and try out your ideas on paper or in the game mode. Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities has a book by or about Whykoff that would be helpful, I think. Whykoff was a very successful trader and his ideas still stand today.
OT is a tool to find stocks that meet your standards, then it is your job to use the grey cells to pick out the ones that are ready to move.
It isn't easy, but with effort and practice on paper, it won't be long before you will start to recognize potential winners. Don't be greedy - take a point or two when you can and then on to the next one.
Pick out good stocks IBD top ones and don't follow too many until you've proven to yourself that you are able to trade.
There is a Yahoo Club, Investors Business Daily by David Cooper.
Cooper works for IBD and he puts some of the top industries and stocks that are movers on the list every night.

Good luck
