Did you know why I mentioned about "Splinter of the Minds Eye" having to do a tie-in with the last installment of the prequels? Part (if not all) of the 3rd movie has to do with a Jedi quest for the Kaibur crystal, which has mysterious powers of the force. As the 3rd movie would open, it takes place on a volcano planet where Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, who has been transformed to the dark side of the force, duel in a light saber match which leads Anakin straight into the volcano. This will be done intentionally or accidentally by Ben Kenobi. Later on in the movie, Emperor Palpatine resurrects Anakin and brings him back to life, leaving him in the mask that we all saw in the Star Wars trilogies. Episodes II and III will be much more gloomier and darker. I sure as heck hope that they won't mess it up by throwing all of those "teddy bears" (Ewoks), thus, reducing the tone of the movie. I know I keep throwing it up again, but the director that would be best suited for one or both of the movies, if Lucas is not interested, would be Jim Cameron. His creativeness as well as directorial and production EASILY makes him a very qualified candidate..............'nuff said. |
