Thank you for correcting me. From the standpoint of the overall circuit, this is true. You have exposed ONE of the particular narrow view points I have on the process, that is ,inherent xtor performance w/o the influence of the majority of the interconnect. I stand corrected. Sorry to the thread for the confusion.

However, I believe Intel has achieved superior drive currents and Ion vs. Ioff characteristics with "conventional" MOS, AlCu interconnect, and some SiOF dielectric, with none of this being terribly exotic. Do we agree?
