The smart money are pros at sending the wrong signals.

SO,

Can they do it to any company or up to a certain size only?
I'm asking because the company that I am watching, CKFR, has recently gone up on unusually small volume. Charts look like breakeout is near. On Wednesday someone, who's never commented on the company before, issued a strong buy. Price ran up +$3 in the morning and following selloff brought it below opening in the afternoon.
Don't want to miss a runup and looks too fishy to put more money.
Could you comment on it?
TIA
