the cost per mb of another 16 mb shrink isn't lower than continuing to work on 64 mb parts. the price may increase, but that is due to lack of demand. the bottom line is that mu is in one hell of a business and satan ain't happy. you don't go nearly broke and borrow $1.5 billion just after the biggest boom in history when you are in a good business. this is so simple...
