yahoo/broadcast.com - i think yahoo's stock being so rich as a currency allows it to buy big and pay big..

aol and icq and netscape may have been better 'values'

but i think broadcast.com is actually worth about double what yahoo paid in about 2 years

letting a company grow, capitalize and create core competencies and then acquiring is a good strategy for yahoo since it's busy keeping up with demand on its offering--and serving half of all search traffic on the web
