IOC management turned down a £2.00/share offer in late 97 as not reflecting
the potential of the company. I understand many agreed.
98 was downhill most of the way apparently due to problems with one
large order. Further capacity was invested in to fill this and then not used.
With these problems behind them and a potentially explosive market in front of them
a take over was on the cards.

I am an IOC shareholder nursing a loss at this takeover price - £0.90+ /share - but
SDL impresses me simply for having pounced.
