Edwarda and thread, Here's a pea for your mattress:

A friend posed this problem to me.

Suppose you are on the Let's Make a Deal show, and Monty Hall gives you the choice of three curtains. Behind two of the curtains is a goat, but behind the third is a Rolls Royce.

Monty asks you to choose a curtain, which you do.

Now, to make it interesting he lifts a curtain that reveals a goat, and gives you the option to switch your choice to the other curtain.

Should you switch, and if you do, why?

I think I know the answer, but I'd love to hear from the thread on this. If you PM me I will reveal my solution
