OK, you've had your laugh at the expense of 1900 Silicon Investors. Ha Ha. . Now be done with it. It is April 3rd.

When you return to Motley Fool, tell them all how 'smart' you were and how you fooled SI over and over again. They love fruitless banter there. . . most probably all have their money in a nice safe 12 percent mutual fund. . . Doubt if they could handle the type of returns we get.

But we need to get back to business here at HOME. Prior to your OFF-TOPIC interuption, we were busy discussing current affairs and predicting where they could lead. Josef, you are welcome to join into our discussion if you wish. Otherwise, we will see you again next April. . .take care.

Thread,. . .the topics were:

1. Should China devalue their currency in the next few weeks, what affect will this have on the U.S. dollar, Asian anxiety, the Fed and the equity markets? Is there ANY safe harbour?

2. What are the latest developments in the CIS? Will Russia do the unthinkable as in my scenario? They have made an effort to re-join with Belarus, what efforts are they making toward teaming with the Ukraine? And once this new world super-power has been formed and teams with Serbia, will NATO do the right thing and back down? Or will they make the same mistake that allied forces made in Yugoslavia at the beginning of WWI and WWII? Can you ever end a holy war?
And what are the odds that China will side with the new Russian super-power?

And a new one. . .3. My predicted top of this irrational exuberance bull within the broader market bear is due in just three weeks. We have made some extraordinary gains with our Inets and NGI telecoms. We want to lock in these profits, yet stay invested thru the slow bearish summer. What hedge will work best and why?

I'm interested in everyone's views and feelings on these matters. . .newbies are likewise welcome to join discussion. Will post lurkers views via email at Rande@writeme.com upon request.
