Good input JL.
Sounds like this page may go alittle more O&G.
I have requested some information on the same data you have requested. The shallow stuff in the Glancy was bypassed for who the heck knows why...other than the smart brain surgeons in the Brookhaven field, Chevron, never let it even occur to them that before they sold their Brookhaven for less than 1 million several years ago, that there could be Paluxy, Lower Tuscaloosa, Fredrickburg, Rodessa, Hosston and Cotton Valley. Dah. Tank goodniss for da geniuses dat da big boz train. I know senior execs and Chevron has the Brookhaven all over their face. Now for Glancy....
Several underfunded privates, two or more bankruptsys and idiot completions. Glancy is full. I've seen the logs. Killer stuff and never produced. My numbers come out at less than 500K bbls and 15 bcf of gas. Virtually untouched. A lot of title problems. Need a good host of attorneys and good land specialists...not my forte but they are essential.
Records inticate that the Cotton Valley was encountered in 1972. Flowed high volumes of gas but was walked from. My people figure the only reason way was that the Smack-over was the target and suface equipment technologies couldn't handle pressures. It is true. There we go again,,,,,making big O&G logic for us who think.
