CU Installs Kiosk Using Finger Imaging ID
{excerpts}In January, we reported Houston Metro Empl. Fed. Credit Union installed finger imaging identification at teller workstations. "Members love the added security the technology offers," said Barbara Harris, credit union President. Ms. Harris spoke to a packed audience about their system at the recent NAFCU Technology 98 conference in Los Angeles.
Earlier last year, Purdue Employees Fed. CU became the first financial institution in the country to use finger imaging biometrics to identify members. The credit union is located in West Lafayette, Indiana (Wasn't this an IDX hardware NRI software program?)
