Yes, he is; but then the thieves that robbed my house when i was in my 20's saw an opportunity and the mafia bosses have exploited many too. While I can not support my idea of entrepreneurship with a simplistic definition from the dictionary, I assure you that AIPN does not fit my model of an entrpreneurial venture as you originally used the description.

>AIPN searches for OIL and is by that definition a “wildcatter”
>parenthetically Webster's defines wildcatter: as one who drills for
>oil in an area previously considered unproductive.

Likewise I stick with my original rejection of the term "wildcatter" used to describe AIPN; having worked with explorationists my entire career, I think the industry has its own view of whom gets the honorable characterization as a "wildcatter" and who doesn't. Webster's is not where the industry looks for help in deciding who is or isn't worthy. Frankly, I believe no true wildcatter would see GF or his company as worthy of the term. Nor Wall Street. Most wildcatters drill wells -- not just talk about it or make excuses for not doing it. I think there are others from the industry here who would share that view.
