Talk of buy out may be fun but sometimes I wonder if that is the way it will go.
Think about the pattern so far.
1.Diamet and Fipke make a big find and JV with BHP on a real sweetheart deal, carried throught to production Diamet get a percentage and Fipke and Blossum get a percentage (they will be very rich indeed) Diamet shares go to $50 and then get split.
2.Aber has some ground and goes exploring they are JVed with Kennecot and must pay their share of the expenses to maintain their share.
3. Mountain Province makes a find but after a few years runs out of money etc and are now jved with monopros Debeers and carried through to production (I believe)

So WSP could JV with a major and get a carried through to production deal. They could option the property to a major. Or someone could come along and buy WSP out.
The big players BHP, Kennecot, Debeers, Ashton seem more into JVs then buy outs though.
Personally I would like to see a big canadian company come along and make a deal with WSP but the big Canadian Mining Companies seem to shy away from diamonds.
Time will tell.
