"There is no such thing as a plugged in broker at Merrill. Do you really
think that an annalyst is going to spend time taking phone calls from
14,000 retail stockbrokers?"

Will,

I know this was addressed to Joan but experience has shown that the Merrill Lynch analyst for a particular security has a variety of assistants. It was my experience that one may call the office of Joe Bellace at 212-449-2307 (he is the analyst for CSCC) and if he cannot take your call, there are a variety of people in the office that will explain to you his current information. Thus, any of the 14,000 stockbrokers may call and talk with a "live" person in the office. That is why Merrill Lynch pays the salaries for these people. It is an attempt to provide information to their brokers so their brokers may provide information to their clients.

Glenn
