actually, the gas guy said that we'd have natural gas for "more than a day and less than a week" without electricity. 2-3-4 days, he guessed. As I understand it, the natural gas system has a certain amount of pressure built-in; when that's gone, they use electricity to pump. hmm...your Kohler bid sounds good...wonder if I got "knocked up a bit" on mine? doug
