The LEO satellite telephony business is 4 months old, with one actual supplier only. That supplier has just received a $219 million contract from the US government, something the like of which I had suggested two weeks ago was pending. If I had to guess again, I'd say that that company will probably get $400-500 million more over the next two, three years.

Four months old, and just one LEO satellite company actually servicing a market that all admit was improperly marketed, and with a technology totally different than the other two that are planning service. Just does not give enough evidence to me yet against the claim that 3 billion have never made a phone call.

As for the analyst who said sat telephony is "a joke"-- can we get his due diligence research validating his sweeping new assessment? Or is this just another example of "shooting from the lip" when your firm's name is no longer at the top on a prospectus.

Whatever.
