You may be right about the valuation on the B&M side of the business. I was just trying to do a quick and dirty valuation relative to Borders, which while considerably smaller than BKS, has significantly higher margins. I do not think that the B&M side of the book business is dead. I buy a lot of books and while I do a fair amount of purchasing online, I still prefer the tactile experience of actually handling the books. It is a bit sobering, and depressing, to consider that the market cap of AMZN is over 25 times that of BGP and over 12 times that of BKS.

I have given up on thinking that the market is efficient and if there was any danger of that actually happening, I would have to quickly bail out of my entire portfolio. I hope to hop on board BKS on Monday and I would anticipate that we will both make some money. You will make more, however, because I will have bailed out early. LOL.

Incidentally, I was just kidding about the abuse, but I think that you already know that. I hope that you also have a happy holiday.
