Are you are referring to the PP that was done, to pay off exisiting debts and expand into other countries? When you are a publicly traded company, and need money, you issue paper at whatever price the market will pay for it. At that time thats what the market would pay. I suppose you could go back further in BII history that they also sold shares for .25c but this is irrelevant to the exisiting shareprice. When a company needs money they can't "hope" the market will finally recognize them and hold off on a PP that affects the business plan.

Did they sell too cheap or are people currently paying too much ?
There is no connection between the two and they are two seperate issues. The market is willing to pay $14.00 for BII now in part because of further recognition and the premium that all Inuts are enjoying.

I think the latter, Godin himself recently sold stock in the $6.00 level. I don't think he / they miscalculated just never thought some false buy out rumor would surface and temporarily over price the stock..

CEO's, CFO,s etc sell stock during the course of the year for various reasons, Cowpland of Corel for "debateable reasons"! But your leap to connecting a sale of BII shares at $6.00 because of some "forward undestanding" of the shareprice does not hold water in the mareketplace. Bill Gates has sold millions of shares at prices 1/5, 1/10th etc. of what they are today..was it because he understod the marketplace or was it because he wanted to sell some shares?
