Some experts argue that "mega cap" stocks will continue to do well, and that
small and mid cap stocks never again will outperform the larger companies.
This is a "new era" of mega-cap stocks they claim, citing a number of
reasons. First, in a deflationary environment large companies with a
significant market share are best able to capitalize on deflationary market
trends at the expense of smaller firms.
