I see it touched a nerve in you too. 500 Gb/s, indeed. Which architecture? Fiber, maybe. Not HFC. What coding scheme? What nominal distance from the node or headend? What kind of frequency plan, and is this bidirectional or simply one way (using the entire available spectrum of the fiber?) These things occurred to me while I was reading the post too. Curious.
