Catlady, such a repricing ruling could really accelerate any tech stock downturn because the alternative is too advance the option dates and allow employees to dump the stock in a downturn, then issue new options on the upturn.

I have always felt that repricing, or in any way rewarding employees during a stock price decline is very, very wrong. Look at the CTXS dip sometime back to see how the repriced option holders actually may have benefitted from the dip while some shareholders sold at a loss.
