My deal is the NDX and the new QQQ,
and I've also tried the funds that 2x them, UOPIX ( long )
and USPIX ( short ).
My observation of the anomaly or hidden cost built into the sector spiders was incidental to the fact that I now also watch them to see
what effect they have on the NDX.
While 4% may not sound like much to you I made one company a ton
of money on a much smaller anomaly than that, however this one
is not really an issue with me.

I no longer trade the SPY, or the Sector spiders, the NDX is
loaded with internuts & to me it's a better over all play than
trying to pick the individual tulips.
If I ever take up drinking again I'll be glad to have a beer with you,
however I'm pushing 62 now and to old to re-make myself, and having gone 18 years without a beer or anything else of that nature it
looks doubtful.

Better you in the Balkans than me, & I hope you get home before it
turns into WW 3. Seems if I remember correctly that's where WW1
started, ( which in a way has never really ended ).
This Kosovo stuff as well as most of the troubles in the
Balkans can be traced back to the embers
of 1914, and even before taht, & what I now see is a hungry, slap happy news media , along with a new breed of glory seekers pouring some gas on an insanity they don't and can't understand.
