TA is based upon the flawed premise that stocks are fairly valued and move up and down on specific patterns. There are plenty of exceptions. Some stocks are cheap because of reasons related to mass psychology which is completely irrational. He is completely right to reject TA and he is also right that if you are a true believer in TA why even be here since you would know that the stock is already correctly valued.
