By some amazing coincidence, those are the same folks pushing heavy volume scalping strategies. Isn't that the truth!! This is why I hold little hope of the IDA dropping the enforcement of "know your client" (KYC). It is to the advantage of the brokerages to be putting forward a symbolic gesture of disdain for KYC to the IDA(Investment dealers assoc), at the same time enjoying the time advantage with their own professional daytraders! Canadian Banks will pretend to fight the unfairness in the access to the trading system, so as to appease their "daytrading clients", we are a cash cow to them, and when a Canadian Bank finds a cash cow, they milk it until its dry!! I thank you for your post...because in my diatribe, I have realized another avenue to pursue!!! "Unfair competition", I am sure the bureau would like to have this one!! the Chief
