Follow up on webnode.com.........guess we shouldn't send in our money.

offering of NGI nodes is a scam. (See HPCwire article
[ ] 15157 ) WebNode.com to Sell $4B of Next-Gen Internet Nodes to Public )
The article, which was widely disseminated to news outlets through
BusinessWire, claimed that WebNode had been granted an exclusive DOE
contract to offer the nodes. Subsequently DOE press officer Mike Jacobs
informed HPCwire that the claim was spurious and that the DOE had no
relationship whatever with Web.Node.com.

At the present time, WebNode's site, webnode.com , is still
operational and soliciting names and email addresses of potential "investors".
Neither the listed owner of the Website, Bruce Nigel, nor WebNode's PR agent,
Jim Chefftell of Morgan Laurel Communications, could be reached for comment.
WebNode's technical contact Rob Allen refused to discuss the Website or the
ethical policies inherent in hosting it.
