To address your concerns:

1) BII has only slightly more than 1000 registered shareholders. Trust me, there are way more than 1000 shareholders.

2) BII had revenue of $20.1 million last year and projections for 1999 is $50+ million. (comparatively, eBay's was $47 million last year.)
