My long distance service is now up and running. To their credit Qwest responded to my email before I first logged on this morning. The email said that PacBell had a major outage and that Qwest was not given a time frame for the resolution. It is strange that in my 3 calls to PacBel repair service never did the person I was speaking with ever mention a major outage.
